This week's product story!

I'm going to have to go with the Sustain Sport today.

I absolutely love this Melaleuca product. It replaces Gatorade in the stores, but it is so much better. Sustain Sport comes in 3 flavors right now. My favorite is the orange, Samantha likes the Mixed Berry and Mom likes to mix the Lemon and the Mixed Berry, which I agree is wonderful.

What makes Sustain Sport better than Gatorade or other sports drinks. First off is the calories. 30 calories for a 16 oz. drink. The second reason are the electrolytes that Sustain Sport replaces.

Gatorade can have as many as 120 calories a serving, even though now, I've seen in the stores that they are making a lower calorie version, but I'll stick with mine.

When you work out, whether in the gym, in your house or outside, your body loses water, electrolytes and energy and than can raise your body temperature, cause headaches, tiredness and poor concentration. Sustain Sport replaces Calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium so it helps you rehydrate your cells, maximize muscle performance, minimize muscle tissue breakdown and it helps convert carbs to energy.

Store brands use simple sugars such as dextrose and corn syrup to sweeten their drinks which can lead to blood sugar spikes and unsustained energy. Plus too much simple sugar can draw water into the intestines and away from other parts of your body, leaving you dehydrated.

Sustain Sport does what it says, it sustains your energy during exercise. It has an exclusive formula of fructose and ribose, so it ensures proper rehydration, and gives you a steady energy source.

Sustain Sport also contains vitamins. Natural vitamin E, vitamin C, and 100% of the Daily Value of vitamin B12 for even more energy.

Today I went on a 4.9 mile bike ride/walk up hill and push bike. LOL It was 80 degrees out today and I drank two Sustain Sports, one during and one after. I will tell you that I have been a heat casualty more times than I care to remember. I wish I had Sustain Sport to put in my canteens when I was in the Army, it sure would have made those road marches a whole lot easier.

One other great thing about the Sustain Sports, they meet the guidelines set by the NCAA for use by its athletes.

So if you know someone who is working out on a regular basis, or even someone who just needs to rehydrate after working in the yard, or going for a walk, let me know. Melaleuca has this and some 300 other products that are great for you and for the environment. Go visit my website at www.livetotalfreedom.com/joi and sign up for more information.

Have a great week.

Almost a full year.

That's right, I went almost a year without posting a darn thing on here, yet I'm back.
I posted some on Myspace, but never can keep up with anything, so that didn't last long either. But I wanted to come back here and see if I could pick up and try again. No promises now, I don't think it will last forever, but let's see how long I can go this time.

Where have I been??

I'm not sure. I get here to blog and find that it has been since November 10th that I last blogged. Where does the time go? It's not like I've been off slaying dragons or traveling to far away and exoctic places. No, I've just been pretty boring.

Obviously, Thanksgiving passed since my last visit here. We had a very nice Thanksgiving. Mom, Samantha and I went to the movies and saw Yours, Mine and Ours. Cute, funny, not an oscar contender. Then we went to Golden Corral and filled our tummys without having to do the dishes. Later that night, Uncle Tinker, Shannon, Christopher and Big Ed came up from Arkansas.

We got up on Friday morning and went shopping, no we didn't make it at 5 am for the crazy stuff, not that I had the money to get the laptop anyway. But I did get Mom's Christmas present. We did a little more shopping and then came home and cooked our Thanksgiving dinner. Tinker deep fried the turkey in our brand new electric turkey fryer. MMMMMMM! That is some good stuff. I had to work that night, so I left everyone to stuff themselves miserably.

The next day we went to Silver Dollar City for an Olde Fashioned Christmas. It is so pretty there with the millions of lights. I think we may actually go back this weekend because we didn't get to see everything.

The next couple of weeks were pretty routine. I worked, Samantha went to school, blah blah blah.

I've seen a couple of movies this season. Including The Wedding Crashers minus the first half hour, since the $2.50 movie theater didn't have the right time posted online, so be it.

My birthday is coming up on Monday, yup, the big 38. I don't feel like I'm 38, I used to think that that was an OLD age, but look at me now, not so bad.

This weekend is pretty fully booked. I took it off from work so I could hang out with my daughter and my mom. Tonight is the Christmas program at school. Tomorrow morning is the Girl Scout craft workshop and the town parade is at 2. Afterwards, we might see a movie, we are going to the new Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner and we will probably drive around looking at decorated houses. Sunday is most likely the trip to Silver Dollar City.

Well, now that I've got caught up here. I will try to remember to get online more and update.

Is anyone as insane as I am?

I know it's only the first week in November, but Thanksgiving is coming soon and right after that is Black Friday!! All you die hard shoppers know what I'm talking about. Last year, I got an email from my friend Kim that had all of the Wal Mart Sale items listed, but I haven't got one this year, so I went searching.

I love the internet. It didn't take but a minute to find what I was looking for. This is what I found! I've already gone through and checked off what I want to get. I'm doing some research on the $398 laptop. I can tell it's just for Wal Mart, but I want to know more about it, before I stop buying things and save up for it.

I used to live up in Colorado and go to a small Wal Mart on the day after Thanksgiving. We didn't worry about stuff running out or anyone getting trampled. But now I've moved to the land of Wal Marts, where they are everywhere we are 10 miles from 2 Super Wal Marts and there are at least 4 more, probably more within 30 miles of our house. But still, I worry, about the trampling and the fighting.

So is anyone else up for getting up early and braving the crowds???
