Ex husbands are a pain in the A**

So I called Bryan yesterday because I knew he has to report to Drill Sergeant school today and I was wondering if he planned on seeing his daughter at all before going there. Apparently he has been 1 1/2 hours from here for a couple of days, but he couldn't find the time to come up and take his daughter to lunch or watch her swim lesson or just call her and talk to her!!! I don't tell her what an a** he is, I figure she'll figure it out all by herself, she's pretty smart. I don't think it dawns on her now that there is a reason she doesn't see him much. Before we left, she didn't see him much because he was "working" so much and then going to the bar after. Then a year in Iraq, but since he's been back she gets to share him sometimes with his new fiancee. She's just not that important to him apparently and that's his loss, because she's a great kid, but hey he gave that up when he threw away his marriage to a pretty great lady.
